I was just browsing through some old photos on Facebook, and it just so happened that there was a photo of me competing in tango, in promenade position, where my dress is aligned towards the camera (though my partner is covering most of me!)… followed directly the next photo, which was a concept mock-up of the kind of dress I really wanted, before I bought my dress! In the end, they differ in a lot of ways, but they are actually quite similar, which is pretty neat, since I ended up buying my dress second hand, rather than having it made as I originally intended.
